چکیده
Left ventricular assist devices (LVADs) have been shown to increase the functional status and survival of patients with end -stage heart failure. There is limited data regarding prevalence arrhythmias conduction disease in implanted LVADs. Our objective was determine hospitalized LVADs using National Inpatient Sample (NIS) from 2016-2019. A retrospective study done Nationwide 17,125 hospitalisations were identified ICD-10 codes. Multivariate logistic regression analysis used adjust for confounders analyze variables adjusted odds ratio. Among hospitalizations, average age 55 years 62% male. Atrial fibrillation (AF) most prevalent (43%) atrial arrhythmia, followed by flutter (AFL) (14%), supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) (13%). Ventricular (VT) common arrhythmia (47%), less than one percent cohort had reported episodes fibrillation/flutter (< 1%). In terms disease, 10% either first-degree (1AVB), <1% second-degree AV block (2AVB), right (RBBB), 3% left bundle branch (LBBB). When patient demographics, comorbidities, hospital characteristics, a higher risk AF (aOR= 2.00, p<0.0001), AFL (aOR=3.5, SVT (aOR=4.63, VT (aOR=17.7, complete (CHB) (aOR=2.6, p<0.0001). Patients are more likely develop fibrillation, flutter, tachycardia, RBBB, CHB. our cohort's consistent prior observational studies' trends.

Effects of left ventricular assist device therapy on ventricular arrhythmias.
OBJECTIVES In a retrospective study, we sought to evaluate the effect of left ventricular assist device (LVAD) therapy on ventricular tachyarrhythmias in patients with advanced congestive heart failure. BACKGROUND Despite the increasing use of LVAD as a bridge to cardiac transplantation, our knowledge regarding its effect on ventricular arrhythmias is currently limited to small series. Little...
متن کاملVentricular arrhythmias after left ventricular assist device implantation.
BACKGROUND Left ventricular assist devices (LVADs) have been used as a bridge to cardiac transplantation and as destination therapy in patients with advanced heart failure. The period after LVAD support is associated with ventricular arrhythmias (VAs) despite ventricular unloading and such VAs can have a detrimental effect on survival. Despite the increasing use of LVAD, little is known regardi...
متن کاملImprovement of Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) in Artificial Heart Using Particle Swarm Optimization
In this approach, the Left ventricular assist pump for patients with left ventricular failure isused. The failure of the left ventricle is the most common heart disease during these days. Inthis article, a State feedback controller method is used to optimize the efficiency of a samplingpump current. Particle Swarm Algorithm, which is a set of rules to update the position andvelocity, is applied...
متن کاملThe Effect of Cardiac Rehabilitation on Left Ventricular Remodeling in Men and Women Patients with Coronary Artery Disease
Objective: Left ventricular (LV) remodeling is associated with increased morbidity and mortality therefore, interventions that halt or reverse ventricular remodeling are expected to prevent these clinical outcomes. The aim of the study was to assess the effects of cardiac rehabilitation program on cardiac remodeling process in patients with coronary artery disease and then compare the results b...
